North Carolina player passes away at basketball game

In a tragic turn of events, young James Hampton, a North Carolina youth basketball player collapsed on the court. Hampton passed out during the Nike Elite Youth Basketball League event and reports of him passing away came momentarily. The class of 2019 prospect played for Team United in Charlotte. The incident took place in such a short time, it took everyone by surprise. The director of team United said that, Hampton had a history of seizure problems. The 17 year old just fell down on the court, which Davis thought was a seizure. When being checked upon, he did not have a pulse; paramedics were called upon and performed a preliminary CPR. The games were stopped at the Boo Williams Sports Complex and Hampton was rushed to the Senatra CarePlex Hospital, less than a mile away. The young player was pronounced dead by the doctors in the hospital. The United team carried on its matches, the day after, securing a victory over All Ohio Red, dedicating it to James Hampton. Several prominent figures expressed their condolences over Twitter. It was a huge blow for the entire basketball fraternity to lose a talented player at such a young age. Cavaliers trump over Celtics in a thriller

The Cleveland Cavaliers grasped a 87-79 win over the Boston Celtics to secure its position in the NBA finals. The leading man was none other than, the king, LeBron James.
